Tracknet Bus Stops
Tracknet bus stops are located at the following points in each town for your convenience. Please make sure that you are aware of your designated bus stop and are available for pickup at least 15 minutes prior to departure time. Tracknet services connect with passengers' onward travel and we endeavour to adhere to advertised timetables.
Important Note: some of our services are on tight schedules and all listed pickup locations are not available on all Tracknet services.
The pickup options available for a particular service will be given to you upon booking.
Queenstown
- Queenstown CBD – Outside Marmalada Cafe, 48 Camp Street, Queenstown
- Frankton Bus Shelter – Bus shelter (Frankton Terminus) near the Frankton roundabout.
- Queenstown Airport – Meet outside the Arrivals Terminal at the taxi stand / bus shelter beside the car park pay and display terminal.
- Info & Track (Bus to and from the Routeburn Shelter only): Info & Track Office, 37 Shotover Street, 50 metres from ‘The Station’ Visitor Information Centre.
Te Anau
- Te Anau Department of Conservation (DOC) – Located on the Lakefront and on the corner of Lakefront Drive and Manapouri-Te Anau Highway. Note: the 9:45am and 1:25pm coach from Te Anau to Te Anau Downs/The Divide/Milford Sound ONLY collects passengers at this location.
- Te Anau Lakeview Holiday Park & Motels – 77 Manapouri-Te Anau Highway. Our Tracknet office is located here, most services will collect you from here (directly opposite DOC). Car storage, luggage storage, and showers are available for purchase.
- Te Anau Central Backpackers – 29 Mokonui Street, Te Anau.
- Te Anau Lakefront Backpackers – 48-50 Lakefront Drive, Te Anau.
- Miro Street Bus Stop – located next to Kiwi Country in the town centre, Te Anau
- Te Anau Fiordland iSite – 80 Lakefront Drive, Te Anau
- Birchwood Cottages – 208 Milford Rd, Te Anau
- Caltex Garage – 33 Luxmore Drive, Te Anau
Milford Sound
- Milford Sound Visitors Centre – All buses depart from here. This is where the boat cruises in Milford Sound depart and where the launch from the Milford Track comes ashore.
- Milford Sound Lodge – Only the 9:25am service can collect passengers from the Milford Sound Lodge (bookings essential).
Other Locations
Other bus stops include Te Anau Downs (Milford Track), The Divide Shelter (Routeburn Track), Hollyford Road End (Hollyford Track), Routeburn Shelter (Routeburn Track), Control Gates and Rainbow Reach (Kepler Track). At these locations, please meet your Tracknet bus at the car park.
