About

Your adventure to Doubtful Sound departs from Te Anau to Manapouri by coach, then we transport you across beautiful Lake Manapouri by fast boat.

Next by coach over the Wilmot Pass and into Deep Cove at the head of Doubtful Sound. Once at Doubtful Sound you will board our vessel the ‘Southern Secret’ for a 2-hour cruise of the fiord. Experience the raw beauty of Doubtful Sound; nature in its most pristine form. See piercing mountain peaks, deep valleys, rivers that turn into waterfalls, and ancient glacier carved fiords. Fiordland Cruises invite you to join your hosts for a personalized and relaxed Doubtful Sound Day Tour. Once your experience of Doubtful Sound is complete we begin the return journey to Te Anau.

Schedule

Please note there is a minimum of 4 passengers per departure.

7:30 am - Depart Te Anau
7:45 am - Pearl Harbor Manapouri
8:45 am - West Arm Lake Manapouri
9:45 am - Depart for Doubtful Sound 2 Hour Cruise
11:45 am - Back at Wharf Deep Cove
1:30 pm - Depart West Arm
2:45 pm - Arrive at Manapouri
3:00 pm - Return Te Anau

Terms and Conditions:
Minimum of 4 Passengers required per departure.
You must advise if you have a medical condition that may affect your ability to complete the tour.
This tour requires a good level of mobility and note we use smaller 9.5 metre long vessels for the transfer across lake Manapouri which can be affected by lake conditions.
Children: Minimum age of 14 years old.
