How to get there?

Queenstown has a busy International Airport. Tracknet’s Bus services can collect passengers from the Queenstown airport on scheduled services all year round to Te Anau, the Divide & Milford Sound. Queenstown and Invercargill are the closest airports to the Fiordland Great Walks.

Queenstown is located in Otago and is approximately a two-hour drive from Te Anau or Invercargill, or a five-hour drive from Milford Sound.

The Routeburn Track (Routeburn Shelter) is a two-hour drive from Queenstown, through the township of Glenorchy into the Mount Aspiring National Park.
