Milford Sound is a must see for your visit to New Zealand. It is called the 8th wonder of the world and has spectacular waterfalls and stunning scenery. The Milford Road is one of the most popular scenic routes in New Zealand and you need to see it to understand why. With the recent road closures the only way to get to Milford Sound by road from Te Anau is on a bus and we have a tour leaving daily at 8am and returning at 4pm. Fare $89 per adult, $57 per child. Lunch not included and you are welcome to bring your own.

Our Milford Sound Park and Ride day tour is a journey along the Milford Road, a historical and spectacular alpine drive from Lake Te Anau. We invite you to leave your vehicle in Te Anau and take advantage of the local knowledge and experience of our Te Anau based driver. We will have photo opportunities as time permits and a 2 hour stop in Milford Sound which will ensure you have time to enjoy the amazing views.

Please note: this is only the return transportation option operated at present due to the road limitations. This is a great way to see Milford if you don’t want to go on a Cruise. In Milford, you can enjoy the views and take a short walk.

The Coach will meet you at your Te Anau accommodation at 7.45am. You will arrive in Milford at approximately 10:45am and the return bus to Te Anau leaves Milford Terminal building at 1:00pm with arrival time back to Te Anau by 4.00pm.
